House Considerations

  • We have a septic tank and as such please only flush toilet paper and bodily waste down the toilet. Everything else is to be disposed of using the waste bin.

  • Alcohol can be consumed on the premises with prior arrangements with your hosts.

  • Please be considerate to other guests and keep noise at an acceptable level.

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding physical, and verbal abuse or foul language aimed at the hosts.

  • The hosts reserve the right to cancel a booking without notice and ask guests to leave the premises.

  • Deliberate damage to the fixtures, furnishings, linens, and fittings will be charged.

  • Payment of the entire bill must be settled on checkout.

  • Well-behaved dogs and cats are allowed to stay with the payment of a £20 deposit and a £50 deep clean charge should there be an issue.

  • A deep clean charge of £50 applies in all instances when basic acceptable standards of behaviour and personal hygiene have not been adhered to.

  • The Old Post Office has no guest cooking facilities there is a small fridge for chilled items.

  • The hosts are available from 07.30 am to 10.30 am and 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm daily. Please use the mobile number in the guest folder should you require immediate assistance.

  • The Old Post Office reserves the right to change the menu at short notice and some ingredients may not be available.

  • Outdoor boots must be taken off before entry into the property.

  • Dogs must sleep in the dog cage provided. Cats must sleep in a suitable cat box.

  • We offer guests no laundry facilities but are happy to wash, dry and fold a load for £10 per load.

  • Prices may change without notice.

  • The main front door is locked at 10:00 pm and unlocked at 07:00 am. Entry after this time can be arranged as required.

  • Dining is at the communal dining table.

  • Guests have access to the communal lounge. Please be considerate to other guests if using the TV and sound bar.

  • Do not dry any clothing or item over the electric fires this is a fire hazard and could lead to injury.

  • The Old Post Office accepts no liability for damage caused to vehicles or belongings using the public car park.

  • Allergenic and food intolerances must be disclosed to the hosts as soon as possible preferably before arrival or on booking. We will try to be as flexible as possible. Please see our allergens policy.

  • Bedsheets and towels are changed weekly or on request. Just ask for a room refresh, and we will change the linen and freshen the room.

  • Packed lunches must be ordered the night before required. Dinners must be ordered at breakfast or on booking.
